Everyone loves a good war game, but many modern games are too simple, with their lack of storyline and their constant shooting. However, the Metal Gear Solid games offer some relief from this. Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, which has a demo released on Nintendo eShop, includes stealth missions in which you must sneak your way through a small army, firing sedatives and using knives to subdue your enemies. It will be available in stores on the 21st of February (U.S.), on what many call Tuesday. What are you looking forward to about this game? -Ryan Baxter
If you’ve been waiting for more info on Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, you will be very glad to know that a demo of the game is on its way to the eShop in North America on this Thursday (Feb. 16th). Guess what MGS fans? Konami has just announced the release dates for Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D! The game will come to North America on February 21st, while European gamers will have to wait until March 8th to experience the Playstation 2 remake in glorious stereoscopic (glasses-free) 3D. Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D has already showed many features exclusive to the remake, including photo-camoflauge and gyro controls, but Konami has announced two new features. You’ll now be able to walk while you’re crouching and switching between first person and third person views, sort of like in Skyrim. Although Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D was said to be released in Winter this year, series producer Hideo Kojima has said that this fact was true, but the game is now coming out in Winter 2012. Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D for the Nintendo 3DS was expected to be released in 2011, but Konami now says that Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D for the 3DS has been delayed until 2012. No official reason was given as to why the game has been delayed, but speculation hints that it was delayed because of all the major games being released very soon, including Star Fox 64 3D, Mario Kart 3DS, Super Mario 3DS and many more. - DekuSnake (Amanda)
