At the beginning of the fiscal year, Nintendo announced their goal to sell 9 million Wii U consoles by March 31st, 2014. Well, with only a few months left, that’s probably not gonna happen. Why? Well because according to Wii U Daily, that would mean that “Nintendo has to sell 2 million Wii U consoles per month from now on”. I’m not being a pessimist, but that sure is a lot to sell, especially with the current track record of Wii U, we’s need a miracle.
In more positive news, the U sold 230,000 units last month, with help from the outstanding Super Mario 3D World. This is pretty fantastic compared to the rest of 2013.
