Nintendo Network ID Will Be Needed for Online Play

EA has confirmed that when playing via the Nintendo Network for the Wii U, players will have their own individual network ID’s when playing online. Details in which how you will be able to play EA games online have yet to be released. When signing up for EA’s Origin, you will need to transfer data to the company. This includes your Nintendo Network ID.
What I and many others are probably wondering is, what kind of features will the online ID feature? Will it be like Sony and Microsoft, when you unlock certain achievements in a game, will you get something like GamerScore, or Exp. To level up your account? These are just some of the things I thought of when I herd that Wii U gamers will get their very own network ID.

“If you sign up to play EA games through a Nintendo Wii U console, your Nintendo account information will be provided to EA so that we can establish an Origin Account for you. You need an Origin Account to play EA’s titles online. By signing up to play EA’s titles, you agree that limited user account information can be transferred to EA. Information transferred to EA includes your Mii information, email address, Nintendo Network ID, friend list, country, language and date of birth but does not include credit card number or other financial account information.”
