If you read our post before, you know that the Wii U version of Scribblenauts Unlimited, will feature characters. You also read the just plain awful news about how the 3DS version, will not have these features. 5th Cell came out with the following:
The 3DS version was already finished and moving into manufacturing (cartridges take longer to produce) by the time the deal was signed with WB & Nintendo. Only the Wii U and PC versions remained and obviously Nintendo would only want their IP on their platform.
Well this does explain why the 3DS version doesn’t feature Nintendo characters and items. Maybe 5th Cell can use the power of the eShop, to have a dlc for the game. I’m not real sure what they can really do with a dlc, but we can hope. -Tommy Robinson

Noooooooo! This is terrible news!! Hopefully well see these familiar faces in the form of DLC like you mentioned.
Yeah me too, I really would like to see a dlc as I am most likely getting the 3ds version of the game. If they can add maps for new super mario bros 2 through a dlc, I am sure the developers of this game can add their own dlc somehow.
That’s good to know. I’m only getting the 3DS version, but I still hope to play as Princess Peach in my game!!
