I’ve believed in Nintendo for all these years, and have noticed one thing: Even when it looks bleak for these guys, they always end up on top. I believe it will be this way for the Nintendo Wii U as well. Sony and Microsoft are scrambling to announce their new systems in an attempt to win over consumers, but will it be enough to douse the flames of the Wii U? I don’t think so, and neither does Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime:
“It’s based on having great graphics, it’s based on having a robust online execution,” he said. “We believe that this system is going to have a very long life, and it’s going to be very well supported by third-party publishers.”
“Once you talk about what that is [next Xbox and PlayStation4], we can probably fend it off.”
So there you have it. While this may not be much coming from the president of Nintendo of America, I think that Nintendo will once again end up on top if they keep up their great job of marketing the Wii U. Share your thoughts in the comments.
