It’s just one of those days, you wake up warming up that nice old machine gun. Now its time to leave you get in your Humvee just like every other day. you take off down the roads of the middle east. What’s so different about this day? Well, now you have terrorists trying to kill you and its up to you to clear them out and defend yourself. Heavy Fire: Special Operations 3D is definitely a game shooter fans have been wondering if they should buy. That’s what this review is for.
When you first start-up the game you need take a picture of yourself for your profile. not really important but it’s still a neat feature, the downside is when your friends come to play you realize you look like a total idiot in the picture and you can’t change it. This has similar features as a recent title I reviewed from Teyon, Outdoors Unleashed. You can buy and upgrade brand new weapons, a pretty nice feature I think.
The first weapon that you get is a pistol and to me, it’s really hard! It’s probably just me but for some reason the difficulty is pretty steep, even with better weapons. Now there is one thing you should know when playing the game; it’s a challenging game. You can’t just shoot out of control until the level passes. Something else you should know about this is that it’s a rail shooter so it’s not like most FPS games like Call of Duty where you can walk around. don’t let that keep you from getting the game. It is still a pretty fun game. it has a lot of missions to keep you playing. it’s another one of those games that’s perfect for a bus or train ride.
Conclusion
So the ultimate question is, “should you buy this or not?” Are you looking for a nice shooter? Do you like a bit of a challenge? Then I would say it’s at least worth a try. The game doesn’t add a horrible hard challenge but its hard at times and others easy. Overall, I enjoyed this game, although it could use some fixing (like maybe make a difficulty setting or add more customization). Like most of Teyon’s eShop games, Heavy Fire: Special Operations 3D is nice but not for everybody. You can get this from the eShop today for $4.99.
