For those who don’t know yet, Bayonetta 2 was announced exclusively for Nintendo Wii U earlier this week at Nintendo’s Wii U Preview event in New York. Other than the fact that Nintendo will be publishing Platinium Games’ new title, Kotaku has some pretty good reasons why Bayonetta should be making an appearance in the next Super Smash Bros. game for Wii U and 3DS. For starters, Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai apparently visited Platinum Games last spring, and took this photo. While this could have just been a teaser for one of the two games Platinum is making for Wii U (Bayonetta 2 and The Wonderful 101), Kotaku seems to think that this proves their suspicions even more. This seems pretty legit to me.

To be completely honest, I have absolutely no idea why Nintendo is publishing this title… however, i didn’t necessarily think that it’s a bad thing.
