Some of you were guessing that you could play your transferred Wii Virtual Console games on Nintendo’s new Wii U GamePad.  Earlier, I said that this sounded too good to be true, and it looks like I was right.  Again.  Nintendo of America has confirmed that you won’t be able to play these games on the GamePad, but instead, you’ll have to stick with your old Wii Remote or Classic Controller that you have laying around the house.  Like I said, it sounded a bit too good to be true.
