People were wondering if you could transfer your previously downloaded WiiWare and Virtual Console games from your old Wii over to the new Wii U, and according to the latest GameInformer issue, the answer is yes.  This is great for me, since my Wii is loaded with downloads from the Wii Shop.

Will you be able to play these titles on your Wii U GamePad screen?  I sure hope so, but honestly, that sounds just a bit too good to be true.  You’ll probably end up having to use only the original Wii control schemes of each game, but still, this is some great news nonetheless.  We’ll keep you posted on how this works.
