The Nintendo DS family of systems have been home to many great puzzle adventures, but my favorite by far would have to be the Professor Layton series.  While Dallas is currently the biggest fan of the series on the Nintendo Charged team (he gets all the Professor Layton reviews), I’ve recently gotten into the fantastic franchise as well.  Guess what?  We might actually see a Professor Layton game on the Wii U!  According to Famitsu:

A Professor Layton game where you walk around a 3D London would be interesting, said Hino. He [Akihiro Hino] was at first worried that the control pad would be heavy, but there was no problem when playing briefly.

So there you have it.  While there’s still no concrete evidence that we will be seeing this franchise in it’s very first console title, we have a little bit of hope to hold onto until we hear more on the subject.  Stay tuned for more info! -Greg Boe (admin)
