I love localized versions of games much more than their original Japanese versions, mainly because they are more polished and are released after reviews are out on the original, so problems can be fixed before sending them to the West. This has always been the case with the Kingdom Hearts series, and we’ve just gotten the news on a factor changed in the North American version of it’s upcoming 3DS title. According to Franco from Nintendo 3DS Blog:
In the original version of Kingdom Hearts 3D, if you changed characters during a boss fight and then changed back, the boss would appear fully healed but your character would retain all the damage it had sustained in the previous battle. In the localized version of Kingdom Hearts 3D, however, if you switch back to a character who was engaged in a boss fight, both you and the boss will be fully healed.
I’m very excited to know just how much love and care Square Enix has put into Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and all of you readers can expect an in-depth review on this wonderfully magical game closer to its release, and a preview even sooner. Stay tuned for more info! -Greg Boe (admin)
