Here’s the latest rumor in the world of Nintendo.  Geoff Keighley from GameTrailers has shared that Nintendo’s famous italian plumber will be making an appearance on the Nintendo Wii U at launch.  When asked about a new Mario title, he responded:

“Yeah, that’s another one that’s rumored. I’m pretty sure you’re going to see it. Nintendo did a Zelda game last year for the Wii, so I don’t think you’ll see another Zelda this year. I’m sure there’s going to be some twists to it, but yes, Mario will be on the Wii U at launch.”

So while this could just be a hunch, I think we can all expect to see Mario’s first outing in time for the Wii’s debut.  If this rumor becomes true, you can bet your boots we’ll see the game at E3 in two days.  So what are your thoughts?  Be sure to leave your opinion in the comments.  Stay tuned for more info! -Greg Boe (admin)
