Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 have been announced for the Nintendo DS. This news has surprised me greatly, in both positive and negative ways. Pokémon Black and Pokémon White Versions (released last year) were excellent, but the fact that Nintendo would release the game on the Nintendo DS instead of its successor (Nintendo 3DS) puzzles me. Pokémon Black and Pokémon White Versions were great, but I really hope Game Freak includes the other generations of Pokémon in this game as well. These games will be released in Fall 2012. More details on these two new games will be announced throughout the year. What do you think? -Greg Boe (admin)

What happened to Pokemon Grey? And why do Reshiram and Zekrom look different? WHY IS NINTENDO CONFUSING ME A LOT?
I totally understand your confusion. I had thought of a lot of different things, but I had never expected this. I don’t know for sure, but this may be Pokémon Gray, just with a different name. And the fact that the game will be on Nintendo DS instead of 3DS just confuses me more. What do you think?
It is on the DS, because all of the DS Pokemon games are in 2d. The ones on Wii are in 3d. Most of the small consoles are in 2d, while real consoles are 3d.
Generation 5 is not finished yet. I bet more Pokemon are going to be confirmed in this game when it comes out, so I wonder what the last Pokemon in this generation will be.
Who else wants to see an actual Pokémon game on the 3DS? I don’t care if it’s a remake, I just want more features and better graphics for the series. It’s already exceptional, but I mean come on, it wouldn’t hurt to have some better graphics along with a good game!
I’m kinda bored of the series… but if they brought a Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness type of game (3D), then MAYBE I’ll get back into the series.
That makes sense to me. The past few games have spit out some cute, yet almost generic Pokémon, and instead of just adding more Pokémon and a new story onto the same gameplay mechanic, maybe they could spice things up a bit.
